Are you particularly anxious to get the air out of your system? In that case you need to create a substantial vacuum. We can provide you with suppressed degassers that effectively remove the air.
When it comes to both heating and cooling systems, where the system volume is greater than 2000 liters, a vacuum degasser is the optimal product. By its function, the vacuum degasser is capable to create a gas-free system, independent of operating pressure or temperature of the heating or cooling system.
The degasser creates a pressure drop from the system’s over pressure down to vacuum and thus induces an amount of free gas bubbles that are released. The operation is repeated as long as there is too much gas in the fluid. After a time, usually about 2 weeks for a medium-sized system, the degasser has treated the entire volume of the system and thus the amount of gas in the liquid is reduced to such a low level that air problems have now completely disappeared.
Since no system is completely diffusion sealed, and as the fluid always strives to be in “the right balance” the amount of gas will be gradually increasing in the system. Therefore it is necessary that the degasser is permanently mounted to directly start its process when the amount of gas increases.
